  • What is CheckPharma and How Does It Work?

CheckPharma is a quality control and image processing software specifically developed for the pharmaceutical industry.
Working in integration with smart cameras, it provides real-time inspection for products such as blisters, ampoules, and syrup bottles.
Defective products are automatically detected by the system and recorded in the logs.

  • How is the Installation Done?

The software is installed on Windows-based systems, and camera connections are established via IP.
During the installation phase, the Simtekno team provides full support.
User permissions, recording paths, and inspection recipes are configured during the initial setup.

  • Is a Demo Version Available?

Yes. Upon request, a test environment can be provided via remote access for the demo installation.
If desired, a demo setup with devices can also be arranged.

  • How Many Different User Levels Can Be Defined?

The CheckPharma software defines 7 different user levels.
Each level is distinguished by its access and modification permissions within the system (e.g., operator, supervisor, quality engineer, administrators, etc.).

  • Is a Password Policy Mandatory?

Yes. Since the software is CFR 21 Part 11 compliant, the password policy is actively enforced.
Settings such as password length, uppercase letter requirement, and change frequency can be customized.

  • How is a Locked User Account Reactivated?

A locked user account can only be reactivated by a high-level authorized user.
Deletion is not possible; only locking and unlocking actions can be performed.

  • Which Inspections Can Be Performed?

Blister tablet shortage, broken product detection, expiry date/LOT verification, liquid level measurement, pharmacode/QR code reading, color ring inspection, and surface defect detection can be performed.

  • In Which Areas is the OCR/OCV System Used?

Texts such as expiry date (EXP) and batch number on the label are read using OCR (optical character recognition).
The recognized content is compared with the values defined in the system, and the process can be stopped in case of a mismatch.

  • How Many Points Can Be Monitored Simultaneously with the Cameras?

Up to 4 different cameras can be connected to the system simultaneously.
A separate inspection recipe can be defined for each camera.

  • How Are Errors Reported?

All detected errors are recorded by the system with a timestamp.
Each record includes the username, camera ID, and type of error.

  • Can We Export PDF Reports?

Yes. Both shift-based and batch-based PDF reports can be generated.
These reports can be used for quality control processes and audits.

  • How Long is the Data Stored?

The data retention period depends on user configuration.
However, it is recommended that records remain accessible for at least 1 year.
External backups can be performed if desired.
